Position: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Stamford NY or Weehawken NJ
Duration: Contract
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize applications and enhancements in ServiceNow.
- Implement and manage integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Perform day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Build workflows, scripts, and automation to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Identify and resolve issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Assist with platform upgrades and patches, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of configurations, customizations, and workflows.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in ServiceNow development.
- Proficient in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and AngularJS.
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or other ServiceNow modules.
- Experience with REST, SOAP, and other web services.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
