Title: PeopleSoft ERP Specialist (State of Texas)
Location: Austin, TX (Remote)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled PeopleSoft ERP Specialist with extensive experience in implementing, upgrading, and maintaining PeopleSoft systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ERP systems and proven ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams. This role requires significant experience with State of Texas PeopleSoft Finance systems and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Responsibilities:
·Implement, upgrade, and maintain PeopleSoft ERP systems.
·Provide technical support using tools such as Application Engine, Data Mover Scripts, Component Interface, Unix, BI Publisher, Events and Notifications, and SQR.
·Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to achieve project goals.
·Manage multiple projects and tasks while ensuring high-quality results.
·Maintain and upgrade State of Texas PeopleSoft Finance systems, including:
·Workforce Reporting, Accounting, and Procurement System (WRAPS) at the Texas Workforce Commission.
·Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) at the Comptroller of Public Accounts.
·Configure CAPPS Travel & Expense (T&E) module to meet operational needs.
·Develop technical documentation, such as environment diagrams, security mappings, and integration mappings.
·Gather technical requirements from stakeholders and design appropriate software solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
·12-15 years of experience with PeopleSoft ERP systems.
·5 years of technical support experience using:
·Application Engine, Data Mover Scripts, Component Interface, Unix, BI Publisher, Events and Notifications, and SQR.
·5 years of experience working with both technical and non-technical teams.
·5 years of experience with State of Texas PeopleSoft Finance systems (WRAPS or CAPPS).
·4 years of experience configuring the CAPPS T&E module.
·2 years of experience in technical writing.
·2 years of experience collecting technical requirements and designing software solutions.
·2 years of experience maintaining and updating system-specific documentation (e.g., environment diagrams, security, and integration mappings).
