Job Description –
Our fully remote client is looking for a Salesforce Production Support Engineer to join their team.
Position Description:
· Salesforce Platform Support
o Provide support of Salesforce applications, ensuring smooth operation and resolving issues related to APEX code, Flows, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
o Troubleshoot and fix bugs, deploy updates, and implement enhancements as needed.
· Incident Management
o Monitor, manage, and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs. Identify root causes, provide immediate fixes, and collaborate with development teams for long-term solutions.
· Issue Resolution
o Analyze and address issues in Salesforce and related systems. Engage in proactive troubleshooting and preventive maintenance to minimize future occurrences.
· Code Debugging and Optimization
o Utilize your strong background in APEX, Java/.NET to debug and optimize code for better performance and stability. Identify inefficiencies and refactor code to improve system performance.
· Collaboration
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and business analysts, to understand application issues, provide resolutions, and enhance system functionality.
· Release Management
o Assist in the deployment and release of new features and updates to the production environment. Ensure that changes are properly tested and documented before deployment.
· Documentation
o Create and maintain documentation for incident resolution procedures, system architecture, and application configurations. Ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
· Continuous Improvement
o Actively participate in retrospectives and post-mortem meetings to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in production support.
· User Support and Training
o Provide level 2/3 support to end-users, addressing their technical issues and providing training on new functionalities as needed.
Required Skills:
· 5+ years of Salesforce Developer experience (APEX, Flows, LWC Lightning Web Components)
· 2+ years hands-on production support experience
· 2+ years of Prior Java/.Net experience.
Bonus Skills:
· Industry experience is a huge bonus
