Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Application Development Consultant to join our agile scrum team. This role focuses on the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Collibra Data Quality & Observability application. The successful candidate will work within a strong development team to implement new products in the financial sector using cutting-edge technology.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Collibra Data Quality & Observability application.
  • Work on Collibra workflows, API connections, and develop solutions using Java.
  • Exhibit strong data quality expertise.
  • Connect to and scan databases and data lakes, integrating with RDBMS, AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, Java/REST APIs, etc.
  • Implement CI/CD version control practices and tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and GitHub.
  • Develop microservices and API/Event Driven Architecture solutions.
  • Review technology documents and collaborate with external vendors and internal partners.
  • Communicate pertinent information on upgrades and major releases.
  • Apply knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle for Iterative, Agile, and traditional approaches.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of IT experience with Collibra and Collibra Data Quality.
  • Extensive knowledge of enterprise application Data Quality tools installation, administration, configuration, and customization.
  • Hands-on experience with Collibra Information Intelligence Catalog system configuration.
  • Experience implementing Collibra workflow design and implementation.
  • Familiarity with facilitating requirement elicitation working sessions, creating solution architecture documents, and implementation specs.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on the Collibra Data Quality platform.
  • Experience implementing custom integration leveraging Collibra APIs.
  • Experience implementing data governance metrics leveraging Collibra Data Quality metadata.

 

Experience and Background:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Collibra Data Quality configuration.
  • 3+ years of experience with Collibra integration.
