Day to day activities

Understand existing Jenkins Pipelines & convert them in GitLab YAML Pipelines

Understand existing CFT templates ( IaC dev ) & develop TF files

Understand different strategies of B/G deployments ( if AppMesh , CloudMap etc., )

Scripting : Shell /  Python / Groovy / JScript / Java

Understand and automate monitoring as a component ( Splunk / Dynatrace / ClouWatch )

Understanding Route53 strategy

Tools: Jenkins, Groovy, GitLab, YAML, Shell, Python / Java, Terraform

 

Job Description

Over 10 years of experience in DevOps, Gitlab, Jenkins , Terraform module development

Should be proficient in Terraform script creations

Write build scripts and automate the deployments for new applications (Python)

Should be proficient in AWS cloud services – API Gateway, Cloudwatch, Eventbridge, SNS, SQS, Lambda, AWS monitoring tools, VPC etc

Execute software builds & deployments

Should be proficient in Unix environment, basic shell scripting, YAML and python programming

Coordinate, manage, and perform production releases

Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure application environment is working properly

Automate repetitive tasks including system builds, configuration and application installation processes

Coordinate escalation of issues/risks and remove impediments

Initiate infrastructure setup for new and upcoming applications

Submit Change/Incident Management Tickets, coordinate & obtain approvals

Implement standards, processes, & controls for release & deployment activities in DevOps space

Take ownership and act with high sense of urgency

Manage AWS cloud adoption initiatives, Deploy applications in AWS Cloud environment

Participate in planning and implementation of infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS), migrate existing applications to AWS cloud

Familiarity with artifact repository tools (SVN, Git, Nexus, etc.), software build-tools (Maven, ANT, Shell, Gradle), and continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, AWS Code-Pipeline)

Position -Middleware Administrator With IBM MQ

Location: McLean, VA- (5 Days onsite & 24×7 Rotational)

Shift:- Rotational (Shift 1 (8 AM – 5 PM), Shift 2 (4 PM – 1 AM), Shift 3 (12 AM – 9 AM))

 

 

Required Skill Set- Middleware, IBM MQ, OpenShift, OCP.

 

Middleware Apps SME to define, build and support the architecture and tools used by customer application development teams, to provide architecture support, standards, production control and application server administration area.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for assisting Business Development Managers in defining, positioning, solutioning, designing and presenting a range of Middleware administration solutions around WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, etc.

·         Participate in customer facing meetings to determine business and technical requirements that will be used in developing solutions or solution alternatives

·         Developing and maintaining the vendor relationships for the region and regularly engaging the local vendors for assistance, support as necessary.

·         Designing and delivering technical design solutions, along with the services proposal content and pricing for customer projects

 

Qualifications

·         Senior level experience in Application Server Administration – WebLogic and WebSphere.

·         In-depth knowledge of UNIX environment from an architecture perspective.

·         Korn shell is required; bash, WLST and Perl scripting a plus.

·         In-depth understanding of the UNIX file system

·         Ability to create and manage UNIX profiles and comfortable maneuvering at a UNIX command line.

·         Leadership skills to work with multiple support and application teams.

 

Ping Support Developer

Location – McLean, VA (Day one onsite, 3 days onsite in a week)

 

Job Responsibilities:

The individual will be responsible for day-to-day engineering activities on PING platform and working closely with business partners to onboard applications on the IAM platform and maintain appropriates process and governance to manage and proactively identify issues, partner with the technology, business stakeholders on IAM agendas and collaborate with multiple teams on remediation, standardization, automation.

 

Ping directory nice to have been okay, but resource must be with decent scripting knowledge.

 

Skills:

·         Good understanding of Authentication and Authorization framework.

·         Competency in supporting installation, configuration, SSO integration with PingFederate / PingAccess (must have) and PingDirectory [nice to have  ]

·         Hands on experience navigating Linux, Unix systems.

·         Automation experience using Ansible/Python/Shell Scripts

·         Experience with Change, Incident, Problem and Release Management

·         Understanding of load balancing, clustering, high availability, and disaster recovery

·         Basic understanding of certificates, SSL handshakes, encryption.
